Our Work

Our Work

We provide a safe harbor to homeless and heatless individuals and families with a safe place to sleep, and to get warm in frigid New England winters. Our warming center is open January through March in the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Enfield. We provide vouchers for safe travel to our guests who need transportation. Our guests receive a snack at 9pm, and a hot breakfast at 7am. We are not a 24 hour facility even in the winter season for those seeking shelter. We are a temporary, overnight shelter for cold weather to keep our guests warm safe and harbored. Those experiencing homelessness also need referrals for permanent housing, and we work with community organizations to do that and more. .

Our Work

If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need
